This page describes how Groundnova classifies, timestamps, verifies, and restricts research inputs. Public samples below are redacted excerpts from official records — not deal-specific materials.

Evidence standard

  • Every research input must cite a named source, publisher, and capture timestamp.
  • Verification state is assigned only after authority and date are confirmed against the source record.
  • Deal-specific economics, counterparties, and contractual terms are never published without documented sharing permission.
  • Stale inputs beyond freshness windows are flagged for re-verification or archival.

Source classification hierarchy

  1. 01Primary official record (land registry, municipal gazette, court filing, regulator publication)
  2. 02Secondary institutional publication (municipal protocol, agency guidance, parliamentary record)
  3. 03Tertiary market commentary (press, broker note, industry report) — never used as sole basis
  4. 04Internal analyst note — must reference at least one primary or secondary source

Restriction handling
